on the Flight Deck

Wing Commander Rich
The driving force behind the band. Richard has his eye on the stars. He has been flying rokkits way back into the last century - to the birth of rock 'n' roll itself. Never overstated, he has a modest taste in clothes and guitars. Although he'll often ask the question over the tannoy Richard is not really interested if any of the passengers are feeling kinky. His secret weapon is a wound third; most guitarists have never heard of one of these. Rik is partial to Fenders and tweeds.

Princess Margaret
All doo-wops and wiggles Margie paints up the band a treat. Her signature songs are some of the most popular ones we do. Always struggling to do more changes of attire than Richard between sets she adds sparkle and class and a touch of the blondie. She has a particular thing about boots.

The Queen
Roger Taylor is NOT Roger Taylor neither is there anything of the Queen about him - just like Richard. He has the longest tooth in the band (just) but only Margie is thinner. Mr Thundersticks can also play jazz (never mind - he keeps it to himself). Rog hates it when a song ends... he'll often play several more bars for free.

Captain Quiet
Herbie Payne tries his best and smiles at Richard a lot whilst trying not to fall over. Richard and Herb go back a long way. He is so mean he has been known to make some of his own guitars out of wood instead of buying them. He has never played a wrong note - it might be from a different song but the note is always right even if he has to bend it until it fits.
